Boys Registration
2026 Boys Spring/Summer Registration
The WULAX board has determined that we will continue to run Spring and Summer as one cohesive season. All athletes will play for the same team for the entire season unless there are not enough players for two Spring teams and in that case all players will be assigned to one team for Spring Season. Teams will be assigned after evaluations which are scheduled at the West Saint Paul Dome on March 22, and March 29, 2026. We understand you may have conflicts with other sports during the spring months; our ask is to do the best in attendance for both practices and games.
All teams will be playing in the GNLL Spring Season and the YLM Summer Season. We are including the GNLL Spring Season for our 14U level as well, however if we do not have enough eligible non High-School players, there is a chance we will not offer the GNLL Spring Games as part of the season. In this event, you will be refunded $100.00 in March.

Frequently Asked Questions

- 8U Teams will be split evenly to create two equally competitive teams.
- 10U Teams will be split evenly to create two equally competitive teams.
- 12U Teams will be split into an A Team and B Team.
- 14U Teams will be split into either an A Team, B1 Team, or a True B Team.
Who will be conducting evaluations for the teams?
- 8U and 10U teams will be evaluated and teams selected by the coaches for the respective teams.
- 12U and 14U teams will be evaluated by independent High School coaches and the teams will be divided by the Evaluation Committee according to the evaluator's scores.
Can a "non-resident" participate in evaluations and be selected to a team?
- Yes - It's the goal of "WULAX" to place every registered player on a team. Our registration does allow for a certain percentage of "non-resident" kids to participate in evaluations and be placed on either and A Team or B Team.
What happens if an Athlete does not participate in evaluations?
- It is strongly encouraged that athletes participate in at least one or both days of evaluations.
- If a player misses an evaluation day due to family obligations or other excused absence (sickness / family trip planned before evaluations were announced) and does not let the WULAX President know ahead of time and does not make arrangements for a different day to be evaluated, the player will be placed on a B team.
- Players that are unable to attend evaluations and have prior approval for an excused absence will be evaluated based on past coach’s recommendations.
What are the volunteer (DIBS) requirements for families?
- The Black & Blue Lacrosse Tournament is critical to the program and is the only fund-raising event of the season. Each family who registers a child to play lacrosse will be scheduled for four (4) hours of time to work at the Woodbury Black and Blue Lacrosse Tournament June 27-29, 2026. Families with two or more children registered will be asked to do six (6) hours.
- You may choose to opt out of these volunteer duties by paying an additional $300 with your registration. The fee will be used to help find and pay for hiring outside workers in your place.
- If you do not opt-out during registration but then fail to work at the tournament, you will be billed for the $300 volunteer fee and your child will be removed from the program until the volunteer fee is paid.
- DIBS roles include: Time/Score Keeper, Set-up/Tear-down, Food Sales, Concession Sales, and more.
